China Glaze - Marry a Millionaire vs Savina - Gold Flecks

At a glance these polishes look very similar but as you can clearly see they’re not. Marry a Millionaire is a clear based polish jam packed with fine pink and purple glitter and multicolored bar glitters. Gold Flecks is a far tamer version with just gold and purple bar glitter. The texture of Gold Flecks is thick and that made it very hard to polish onto the nail. Marry a Millionaire is an obvious better choice of the two.

Another Saran Wrap Mani. This time I’m using China Glaze Hologram & Virtual Violet. I’m not feeling this combo at all. Next time I’ll just stick to using one holographic polish and top it off with a creme.

China Glaze - Virtual Violet
Like I mentioned yesterday, I’m slowly trying to wear all the polishes I’ve never used before by having my brother randomly pick a number from my spreadsheet.
Me: Bijan, pick a number 1 through 353.
Bijan: Why?
Me: Just pick a number!
Bijan: 25. Why?
Scattered holographic in a violet base. The application was a complete nightmare for me. The first two coats were a hot streaky mess. I had to add a third to even it out. Despite the horrid application I really like this polish. Purple is one of of my favorite colors and holo makes everything better.

China Glaze - Hologram (Tronica Collection)
As you can see, Hologram is a scattered holo in a silver base. The application was streaky at first but I fixed that with three coats for full opacity. I can’t help but compare the Tronica Collection to the OMG! Collection. It was full of linear holo yumminess. Tronica fell short.

China Glaze - Liquid Crystal
I love the Prismatic Collection. Its just so…awesome. I love glitter and I love duochromes so for them to get together and have glitter-chrome babies is amazing. The duochrome isn’t strong but its visible in person.
3 coats then topped off with Seche Vite.

O.P.I. - Did It On Em ($4.50)

Got 5 out of the 6 polishes from the Prismatic Collection. Sadly, my wholesaler didn’t have Polarized. For as long as I’ve been shopping there my wholesaler never told me that if I buy brands in 12’s that she would take a dollar off of each item. Thankfully she told me this tidbit when I saw her today. So, between my aunt & I, we bought 12 O.P.I.’s & 12 China Glazes. I only walked away with 6. Do the math, shes worse than me.

For WEEKS I’ve been straying from buying any of the Nicki Minaj polishes because a rep from O.P.I. promised me the Collection on February 22nd. Guess what? I still haven’t received them. I couldn’t wait any longer. Did It On Em has been calling my name for far too long. As a matter of fact, I’m gonna call O.P.I. ASAP. Last, but not least, I got Princess Tears. Don’t you love that name? Dare to Wear’s glitters are one of the best.
