Zoya - Charla vs Orly - Haley’s Comet

2 coats each. No top coat. Same color. Same finish. 100% dupe.

China Glaze - Marry a Millionaire vs Savina - Gold Flecks

At a glance these polishes look very similar but as you can clearly see they’re not. Marry a Millionaire is a clear based polish jam packed with fine pink and purple glitter and multicolored bar glitters. Gold Flecks is a far tamer version with just gold and purple bar glitter. The texture of Gold Flecks is thick and that made it very hard to polish onto the nail. Marry a Millionaire is an obvious better choice of the two.

Sinful Colors - Pinky Glitter vs Spoiled - I Have a Confection to Make vs Color Club - Hot Couture

Here’s a comparison of three pink jelly polishes that I came across while I was filling out a spreadsheet for my stash. I Have a Confection to Make is the most vibrant & the application was the worst. The texture was super goopy & thick like hair conditioner. Also, the brush was too wide. For those reasons it’s my least favorite in this group. Hot Couture is alright. It’s a snooze compared to the other two because it only consists of small glitter. My favorite from the group is Pinky Glitter. The application was the best, it dried the fastest, and the multi-sized glitter is the best part about it.

Sally Hansen - Glitz Gal vs. Sally Hansen - Twinkle, Twinkle vs. Wet n Wild - Diamond in the Rough

In the bottle these polishes are practically triplets. Once I started to swatch them out I realized Twinkle, Twinkle is a clear base with tons of glitter. Glitz Gal and Diamond in the Rough are both in a dark gray base and nearly have the same amount of glitter. If I could only keep one I would keep Glitz Gal. It has more colored glitter in it and the application was great because of the wide brush.

Zoya Julieanne vs. Zoya Mimi

I bought these during two seperate Zoya promos. I kinda wanted to slap myself once I found out I wasted two good promos buying polishes that were practically the same. Swatching these out made me feel a bit better cause there not exact dupes. Julieanna  is a deeper purple & took two coats to reach opacity. On the other hand, Mimi took three coats & is lighter.

Love & Beauty - Blue vs. Sally Hansen - Laser vs. Milani - Blue Lightening

Several times my sister has gone through my polishes and said “Oh My God! These look exactly alike!”. True, at first glance a lot of polishes do look similar but they have as many differences as similarities too. Love & Beauty is my favorite from this comparison. It would look amazing as a base color for “Galaxy” nails.

MAC - Mean & Green vs. Orly - Space Cadet

No words necessary, these are practically the same color. If you have one theres no need for the other. With that said I would definitely choose Orly. Its cheaper and contains more ounces.

Sally Hansen - Ice Queen vs. NYC - Starry Silver Glitter

Three coats each.

These polishes are practically the same. Down to the texture, brush, and smell. The only difference is that Ice Queen is more “glittery”.

RAINBOW GLITTER POLISH COMPARISON

Savina - Sparkles

O.P.I. - Rainbow Connection

Wet n’ Wild - Party of Five Glitters

Milani - Gems

Here’s a swatch comparison of four rainbow/multicolor glitter polishes I have. Two coats each, no top or base coat. At first glance of the bottles they all look the same minus the fact that “Party of Five Glitters” is less multicolored as opposed to the other three. Also, “Gems” base color has a hint of green. Lookswise “Sparkles” is more appealing  to my eyes BUT the formula is thick and goopy (boo!). With that said, “Rainbow Connection” is the best.
