Zoya - Charla vs Orly - Haley’s Comet
2 coats each. No top coat. Same color. Same finish. 100% dupe.
I think you can see the colors better in this photo. Sorry if either photo bothers your eyes.
Jazzed up my previous nails and did a Saran Wrap mani based off of getnail-d’s tutorial using Orly - Beach Cruiser. It is seriously the simplest nail art you can do. I’m thinking of several color combos I can do in the future.
*sidebar: I came across so many nsfw images when I looked up other posts tagged Saran Wrap. Beware, you’re in for a scare ;)
Orly - Melt Your Popsicle
The application of this polish was a dream. It only took two coats for full opacity. No top coat. Unlike most neon polishes, the finish isn’t matte. I’m so in love with neon polishes! Feel the Vibe has easily became my favorite Orly Collection. I have to get Glowstick (neon yellow!) and Skinny Dip to feel complete.
*it goes without saying that this is 10 times brighter in person, right?!?!
Current Mani
My brother decided to be nice and treat me to a manicure this morning. I’m so glad that I finally found a manicurist who can do stiletto nails to my liking. The first 2 times I left unhappy with almond shaped nails.
Anywho, it was hard for me to choose one so in the end I chose After Party and Beach Cruiser for my ring fingers. After Party has made its way into my top 10. I love dark base polishes packed with fine glitter. Beach Party is a good pairing with it. I can’t stop lusting over my nails.
BIRTHDAY HAUL
Turned 25 yesterday and received these hotties. My sister-in-law bought the Nicole by OPI from the Justin Bieber Collection. My DOGhter bought the rest.
Do you see how the two Orly’s glow? They’re “Beach Cruiser” & “Melt Your Popsicle” from the Feel the Vibe Collection. They’re the most neoning neon polishes I have ever came across. I tried my best to capture it in another photo but failed. You gotta see it for yourself in person.
China Glaze - Fast Track ($3.00)
China Glaze - Smoke & Ashes ($3.00)
China Glaze - Luxe & Lush ($3.00)
China Glaze - Stone Cold ($3.00)
Orly - Steel Your Heart ($5.00)
Dare to Wear - Seriously Gold ($2.00)
I recently decided to put myself on a strict budget. $20/weekly is dedicated to nail polish. So, when I went Downtown & saw all the polishes from new collections I had to muster all of my might to not break the bank. I came across the OPI Holland Collection, Color Club Blossoming Collection, Color Club Magnetic Force Collection, Orly Cool Romance Collection, and of course the China Glaze Hunger Games Collection. Next week when I go back for more is gonna be so hard because I passed up so many polishes that I was in DIRE need of. Anywho, do yourself a favor & Google swatches of Smoke & Ashes. Its so FUEGO, its my favorite from the entire collection.
